Mr Panton will be leaving us soon… Not much to do about it, but he does invite his opponents and fellow players to join him for a drink at Top Squash on the 12 November 2004 in the evening. Make sure to be there. This is the best photo I was able to find of him 
but I expect us to be able to catch a few until his departure.

As we are approaching the end of the 2003/2004 season its maybe a good idea to think about an end of season dinner. The final playoff games are on Wednesday 21 April and there are still Cup matches to play on April 23, 28 and 30th. It will likely be impossible to find a date that suits everyone but I would suggest a Wednesday (our usual squash night..so less problems “domestically”!)…either April 28th (unless we still have a team in the Cup) or May 5th. As for the location….open to ideas. I recently had lunch at the Brasserie Bierhaascht in Bascharage ( http://www.bierhaascht.lu) which was pretty good. But I know some of you like your garlic shrimps as well !!
Anyway, it would be good to have some initial feedback about your availability (Keith and my favourite subject!!)…so please let me know what you think….

Easy win 4-0 against Bastogne with every one playing well. We went to eat at Leo’s in Bastogne, which is highly recommended. Good food and a nice ambiance.

We’re hoping to organise a pre-season dinner to kick things off for what I’m sure will be another successful season. This will also give some of our newer members a chance to meet the rest of the Angels.
The idea for the night was, first to play some Squash starting at 6.30pm and then move onto the restaurant for about 8.30pm. The venue for the meal is hoped to be Baccano’s…if Stavros remembers to book!!.
Please reply as soon as possible so that we can get the restaurant booked. The date suggested was next Monday 22nd September.

Well Suggestion is after the game on Wed. Please tell Dimitri if you would like to participate in the dinner at the latest on Tuesday afternoon. The restaurant is portuguese with some excellent steaks or gambas. This is sent via e-mail as well.
